Hospitality Lodging Investors, LP closes on BWI Site

Hospitality Lodging Investors, LP (HLI) today closed on a two acre site at the Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI).  The site completes the assemblage of three separate tracts on which the partnership will construct a 100-room Country Inns & Suites by Carlson hotel and sell and/or lease a pad site for the construction of a restaurant. 

The partnership now owns 4.78 acres on West Nursery Road adjacent to the airport.  The partnership is in the mist of raising additional capital for the project and expect to start construction of the project in 2002.

HLI owns a 67-room Country Inns & Suites by Carlson hotel in York, Pennsylvania and an 83-room hotel in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
