 Hospitality Lodging Investors, LP Closes On Beckley West Virginia Projects.

Hospitality Lodging Investors, LP today closed on a project located in Beckley, West Virginia.  The project includes a 156-room Country Inns & Suites by Carlson hotel, a 75-room Microtel hotel, the Mountaineer Conference Center consisting of 6,000 SF of meeting space, and a site, with all approvals in hand, to construct an additional 120-room hotel.

The project was funded by investors already in the partnership using convertible note financing in the amount of $5,750,000 and bank financing in the amount of $12,500,000. To date, this is the largest acquisition for Hospitality Lodging Investors, LP.

Hospitality Lodging Investors, LP now owns four Country Inns & Suites Hotels by Carlson.  They include 67-rooms in York, Pa; 83-rooms in Gettysburg, PA; 156-rooms in Beckley, West Virginia, and a 107-room hotel that is under construction and will open in December 2004 at the Baltimore-Washington International Airport.
